Books & ledgers (file upload)
The way to get figures from your accounting system into TaxLayer today. Businesses: Books & ledgers in the sidebar. Firms: the client’s Books & ledgers tab. Pro and Premium. Six boxes, each with a Download template:
Drop a .xlsx, .xls or .csv (under 10 MB) on a box. TaxLayer asks which month or year it’s for, checks every row, and either files it (✓ 48 rows added for September 2026) or refuses the whole file with the first problem it found (Row 12, column “Net”: “abc” is not an amount.). Use the template’s column headings; Greek or English half of each heading is enough.
Uploading the same month again replaces the earlier file. For a client who keeps the files on their own computer, Get upload link makes a 30-minute link they can open in any browser.
Connections (accounting systems)
Connections in the sidebar (Pro) is where accounting-system, AI-key and file-storage connections live. SoftOne, Epsilon Pylon and Xero can be connected and synced, and documents can be posted to them from Documents › Actions › Export selected › Sync with your ERP or accounting tool.Accounting-system posting is being rolled out firm by firm. If you want to post documents to SoftOne, Pylon or Xero, ask support before relying on it, and use Books & ledgers for reconciliation in the meantime.
